Annette Maryann Paquette

August 25, 1932 — April 14, 2024

Annette MaryAnn (Richotte) Paquette died April 14, 2024 surrounded by her five children and two of her grandchildren after a very brief illness. Born August 25, 1932 Annette was 91 years old. She was a long-time resident of Tilton, NH and lived a full life raising her children, caring for her grandchildren and giving to her community. Annette was a woman whose faith in God ran deep and she spent much time giving back to her church, St. Mary of the Assumption in Tilton. In her earlier years when she lived in Ashland, NH she taught religious education classes.
While raising her family Annette volunteered hours to various community and civic organizations. She was a worker bee! She was a volunteer Girl Scouts leader and an active member in the Tilton-Northfield Women’s Club. Annette was on the school board for Winnisquam Regional School District and proudly served as chairwoman.
Camping at the lake and spending hours at the beach kept both her and her kids happy. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed floral arranging. Annette loved to travel and had the opportunity to travel to Europe multiple times visiting England, France, Ireland, and Italy with her beloved in-laws. For over 10 years she spent the winters in Florida with her sister and family. Annette’s love for her family, near and far, was her focus and guide; Sunday family dinners and playing cards were part of her essence. She was always up for a good game of poker!
Annette is survived by her five children: Sharon Paquette and Eric Shirey, Rose-Marie and Steve Welch, LeeAnn Paquette and Bruce Bailey, Richard Paquette, and Reneé Paquette and Doug Priest. Her nine beautiful grandchildren were her loves, Devon, Nicholas, Kimberly, Stacey, Richard Paul, Ian, Kerissa, Rebecca, and Cameron Paul. She was so proud of all of them and her 14 great- grandchildren who became an equally important part of her life. Annette is also survived by her only sister Lorraine Palmer of St. Petersburg, FL., along with brothers and sisters in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Rose Richotte and her infant daughter Kristin Marie.
