Amelia P. Geddis

Northfield Amelia P. Geddis Amelia P. (Pisczek) Geddis, 92, a longtime resident of Northfield died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen. Amelia was born in Northfield, September 18, 1922, daughter of Albert and Anna (Buczynski) Pisczek. She was a Tilton Northfield High School , class of 1941. From 1955 until 1985, Amelia worked as a bookkeeper for the former Prescott Oil Company in Franklin. She was a longtime active member of the Northfield-Tilton Congregational Church in Tilton. Amelia was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, James R. Geddis who died in 2003 and her son, Robert Geddis in October 2014. She was also predeceased by brothers, Stephan, Joseph and Frederick Pisczek and sisters, Anna Janice and Yanina Hussman. She leaves her grandson, Christopher Geddis of Franklin and her great grandchildren, Kathy, Jonathan and Jacob Geddis. Nieces and nephews According to Amelia's wishes, there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2015 with burial following in the family lot in Park Cemetery in Tilton. Arrangements are under the care of the William F.
