Alvena E. (Crannie) Mussey

Franklin Alvena E. (Crannie) Mussey Alvena E. Mussey, 69, a resident of Franklin for over 56 years died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia following a short period of failing health. Alvena was born in Flint, Michigan, February 18, 1944, daughter of James A. and Mildred (Uttley) Crannie. Alvena spent her youth and schooled in Flint. Over the years she worked in quality control in area factories until becoming a full time homemaker. She was known for her gentle smile and kindness. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert W. Mussey who died in 1999. She leaves, Her son: William J. Mussey of Manchester Grandchildren: Darcey Mussey, Elisha Marsh, Tasha Cross, Melody Mussey and Autumn Mussey Her brother: Daniel Crannie of Mikado, Michigan Numerous nieces and nephews A Time of Remembrance will be held Monday, December 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road in Tilton. Spring burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
