Franklin Albert "Bugs" Edward Woods, Jr. Albert "Bugs" Woods Jr., 57,a lifelong resident of Franklin died at his home, Thursday, November 5, following a long illness. He was born in Franklin, February 22, 1958, son of Albert E. Sr. and Beverly F. (Cross) Woods. Albert was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1976 and went on to take courses at a New Hampshire Tech School. For over thirteen years he worked as a winder at Laconia Magnetics and later worked for eleven years at Lewis and Saunders in Laconia. He later returned to Laconia Magnetics. An outdoorsman, Bugs enjoyed whatever he could do outside, from camping, hiking, hunting, fishing and riding "Molly", his motorcycle. He and his wife also enjoyed their horses on their farm, Strawberry Fields in Franklin. He especially enjoyed carpentry work and restoring old homes. Over the years his family attended the Congregational Church in Franklin. He was predeceased by, his father, Albert E. Woods Sr. and stepfather, Richard Ober. He leaves, his wife of 22 years, Jeannie L. (Fallstich) Woods of Franklin; his children, George Woods of North Conway, Dale Duncan of Sanbornton, Bruce Benoit and Joshua Benoit, both of Franklin; daughters, Jennifer Moulton of Franklin, Jennifer Knell and Laurie Duncan, both of Billerica, MA. 10 grandchildren; his mother, Beverly F. (Cross) Ober of Franklin and stepmother, Joyce (Shields) Woods of Barnstead; his sister, Shirley LaRoche of Franklin, brothers, George Woods of Franklin, Garth Woods Sr. of Berlin and Kent Woods of Stark. Numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Bugs Life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road (584 West Main St.) in Tilton. Private burial will be held at a later date. Bugs' family requests that donations be made in his name to Franklin VNA and Hospice at 75 Chestnut Street, Franklin, NH 03235.
