Albert Eugene Carlisle, a beloved husband, father, and community leader, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 89 with his wife by his side. Born on December 12, 1936, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Albert lived a life full of purpose and passion, leaving behind a rich legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Albert was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1958 -1962, a testament to his commitment to serving his country. After his service, he went on to build a successful career as a manager at Tilton Endless Belts, where he made a significant impact during his time with Arthur S. Brown Manufacturing. Known for his exceptional leadership skills, Albert was a past master of the Doric Lodge and a member of the YMCA International Management Council, serving with dedication on the boards of Iona Savings Bank and New Hampshire Electric. His contributions to his community were many, and his presence was felt far and wide.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie (Corliss) Carlisle, and his devoted daughter, Kimberly Carlisle. He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Joan Holland and his nieces and nephews. Albert's warmth, kindness, and engaging spirit will be deeply missed by family and friends alike, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents; Dallas Sr. and Mary (DeYoung) Carlisle and his brothers; Dallas Carlisle Jr., and Dale Carlisle.
A service to celebrate Albert's remarkable life will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 1:00 Pm at the Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main St. in Tilton. Burial will follow the service in Park Cemetery in Tilton.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Albert's memory are encouraged to make a donation to the Franklin VNA and Hospice.
