Patricia Ann (Mazzalupo) Curtis

Obituary Patricia Ann Curtis 81, of Bristol, New Hampshire. Beloved wife of Bob Curtis died peacefully on September 13, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Mazzalupo. She attended Crosby High School, in Waterbury, and devoted most of her life to caring for others and providing a loving home to her family. As a professional, she worked as a dental hygienist, sales manager in the dental industry, and for many years was the office manager and assistant to a renowned eye surgeon. A devout Evangelical Christian, Patricia was an active servant of her church, Grace Bible Fellowship of Tilton, part of the Calvary Chapel associate of churches. As a long-time member of the Calvary Chapel association of churches, her ministry included creating and implementing curriculums for Sunday School, or “Kids Church” as she called it, visiting nursing homes, and participating in community service and outreach, such as knitting hats and mittens for the needy, and volunteer counseling women on pregnancy options. Patricia had many interests and talents including reading, horseback riding, painting, music, and knitting and crocheting. She loved the long boat trips she took with her cherished husband Bob on the Patricia Ann, cruising on Barnegat Bay and the waterways of New Jersey and New York, and in later years, Newfound Lake in New Hampshire. She was an unparalleled cook and took great pleasure in nourishing her family and friends. She grew up speaking Italian with her grandparents in her home and was proud of her Italian heritage. Above all, Patricia was the soul of her family and a source of caring and kindness for so many. Her sharp mind, wise advice, compassion, humor, and unconditional love will be greatly missed by her husband, devoted sons, family, and all those who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Bob Curtis; son David DiPietro and wife Stephanie of Keyport, New Jersey; son Michael DiPietro and wife Christina, of Winchester, Massachusetts; and son Mathew DiPietro, of Bristol, New Hampshire; stepsons Jonathan Curtis, Matthew Curtis, and Nicholas Curtis; grandchildren Daniel DiPietro, Marc DiPietro, Michael E. DiPietro, Thomas DiPietro, and Olivia DiPietro. She is also survived by her loving brother Frank Mazzalupo, sister-in-law Marie Mazzalupo and niece Christina Mazzalupo. Calling hours will be held Sunday, September 16, from 4 pm and 5:30 pm, including a brief service between 5:30 pm and 6 pm, both at William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, 584 West Main Street, Tilton, NH. Guests are invited to join us afterward for a reception in Patricia’s honor from 6 pm to 8 pm at La Piece, 322 West Main Street, Tilton, NH. A private burial will be held on Monday.
