Judith A. Suzedelis

Judith Antoinette Suzedelis (Couture), age 80, passed away peacefully at Concord Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born in Laconia, NH, Judith was the daughter of Geraldine Richardson and Conrad Couture. She grew up in Belmont, NH, close to her father, her beloved Mémé, and her many cousins, forming deep family bonds that would shape her life. Judith shared 48 wonderful years of love and partnership with her late husband, Joe Suzedelis. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and deep connection. Judith worked tirelessly throughout her life, embodying resilience and strength in all she did. A woman of many passions, Judith loved golfing, playing cards, cooking, and most of all, bringing family together. She found great joy in nurturing relationships and fostering community. She was deeply involved in the local Senior Center, where her vibrant spirit and generosity left a lasting impression. Judith is survived by her three children, Holly French and her husband Mark, Anita Wilcox and her companion Randy Lees, and Joseph P. Suzedelis III and his companion Saralee Reynolds; her six grandchildren, who were her pride and joy; her many beloved great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is also survived by her three siblings: David Blake of Texas, Darlene Piper and her husband Peter of Meredith, NH, and Lori Young and her husband Francis of Tennessee. She was predeceased by two siblings, Raymond Couture and Donna Cartie. In the final chapter of her life, Judith discovered a new love with Alan Vachon, who brought joy and companionship in her last year. Judith's legacy is carried on by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12 PM at the Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main St., Tilton. A celebration of Judith's life will follow at 12 PM at the Memorial Home. A reception will follow the service at 1:00PM at the Franklin Elks Lodge 1280, 125 South Main St., Franklin.
