Elizabeth Ann Folsom

Elizabeth Ann Folsom passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born on August 17, 1935 in Brooklyn, N.Y. the daughter of the late Elvera (DiPierro) Tozzo and Joseph Tozzo. Liz is survived by her loving husband, Marc Folsom, of over 18 years, who remained by her side till her last breath. Liz and Marc enjoyed traveling, casinos, playing cards and going to Patriots games. She is in heaven in the loving arms of her deceased sons, Joseph Fatigato and Frank Fatigato. She is survived by her daughter, Dina Teneriello, her son-in-law Robert Teneriello Jr. and her son Larry Fatigato of Florida. She will truly be missed by her 5 wonderful grandchildren, Larry Jr., Christopher, Deanna, Nicholas and Zachary. She will be truly missed by all her grandchildren, especially by Nicholas and Zachary who have had the honor of living closest to Nana NY and having Nana NY in their lives all the time. She is survived by her in-laws, Marcia, Charlie, Val, Bob and Dennis. She is also survived by her sister-in- law Edith Fatigato and her nieces Christine and Lauren Killackey and all her family, friends and former co-workers in New York and new friends in New Hampshire, too many of them to mention all. The Teneriello’s became her second family many, many years ago and will miss her at all holidays and gatherings. She was a kind, loving soul who lived life to the fullest. She worked as an Executive Assistant at Coney Island Hospital for over 30 years. When she retired, she couldn’t just stay home and went back to work. Marc and Liz had the pleasure of living in Newport R.I., where they got married and then moving to Jacksonville, FL. While Marc was active in the U.S. Navy. While in Jacksonville, Liz kept busy working at the Navy Lodge Hotel where she worked her way up to Assistant Manager. This helped her keep busy when Marc had to go out to sea for 6 months at a time. When Marc retired they bought their dream home in Alexandria, N.H. Again Liz could not just stay home, so she volunteered at the Gift Shop in the hospital, ironically where she passed way. Thank you to all the nurses and staff that made Liz’s final journey peaceful and comfortable. Before marrying Marc in 2004, she was active for many, many years with PWP, Parents Without Partners. She was President of the board and organized all the weekly dances and vacations that the group would take together. She was invited to this organization by her deceased Uncle, Johnny DePierro. Liz and Uncle Johnny became very close and shared a special bond. Liz loved going on vacations. She would go on vacations with her family and friends. Simple things like Dude Ranches for the weekend or trips to Aruba and the Bahamas. When Liz and Marc got married, they enjoyed their yearly trips to Punta Cana and Maine and loved going to the casinos. She loved playing cards and doing puzzles. Liz was a huge sports fan. She loved watching baseball, football, basketball and hockey games on TV. She enjoyed going to the Patriots games with Marc as season ticket holders. She was a trooper and enjoyed many games with her husband and her tailgating family they met at the stadium. Liz lived life to the fullest and she touched the hearts of everyone that met her. She made everyone feel loved and special and she will truly missed by all that had the honor to meet her and know her. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Smart Memorial Home, 584 West Main Street, Tilton, NH 03276. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 2:00pm at NH State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
