Franklin, New Hampshire Elizabeth S. Finnie Elizabeth Stewart Finnie (Ronaldson), 86, of Franklin, NH passed away peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona on January 21, 2016. She was born in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland in 1929 to William and Ann (Taylor) Ronaldson. She was happily married to her sweetheart, George Finnie for 51 years. She devoted her life to an adventurous journey of raising and caring for her six children beginning in Scotland, traversing Canada then briefly battling the wild of Los Angeles, before settling and becoming a long time resident of East Andover and Franklin, NH. Elizabeth was a very active member of the Franklin Senior Center and enjoyed the numerous weekday activities and lunches with fellow friends. She found great joy in feeding those around her by cooking and baking. She always spoke highly of her boys (both her sons and grandsons) and greatly appreciated their help around the house and support in chauffeuring her around. A frugal, bargain-hunter, she found immense joy in the numerous shopping trips she took with her daughters and granddaughters. Though she was never the BIG winner, she was enthusiastic when playing BINGO. She was often happiest when surrounded by her family and loved it when all were able to come together around a good meal. Whether it was as a healthy contest against her husband and children or a friendly game against her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing a round of UNO was always a fun moment for her. She greatly enjoyed traveling including numerous trips home to Scotland, annual visits to Arizona, a recent cruise to the Bahamas, a trip to the Highlands with her sister, a trip to Paris with her granddaughter, a trip to Tenerife in the Canary Islands with her daughter, and trips to Canada and across the US to visit with family.
